These are slim, highly versatile rods, with a slender profile, torqueful blank, with parabolic action, at an incomparable low weight. When we are referring to versatility, it means that this rod series will perform at its best, despite the SPJ style you are practicing, or the type of jig you using. Under strength, the blank creates a very smooth bend. The SSD SPJ rods provide to the jigger, what very few rods in the market can: the high sensitivity and the sharp feeling of any bites, or flirting with your jig, coming from the deep end of the sea, a feature so sought for in Slow Pitch Jerking. Most SPJ enthusiasts, must have encountered in their fishing expeditions, or market search, a common drawback that SPJ rods, in this price range have. And this is the proper handling and transfer of motion to a Slow Pitch Jig, at a depth starting at 100 mt. The area where such rods fall short is the excessive hardness, or softness of their blank, preventing the jig from achieving the proper motion.
