The new LT cuts as much as 20 percent of the reel weight from the old Daiwa Crossfire design, a fact not lost on an angler who has put in a long day of fishing.

The solid ABS Aluminum Spool resists flexing and distorting and is deep enough to hold plenty of line yardage. The heart of the Crossfire LT reel is the cold forged and precision milled Digigears. The state of the art manufacturing process optimizes the meshing between the main and pinion gears.

Daiwa’s innovative proprietary grease makes the Advanced Tournament Drag System (ATD) one of the smoothest on the market. The fit and finishing is complete with a smart Machined Aluminum Handle, that optimizes grip and provides positive torque to the main gear. With reel sizes ranging from 1000 to 5000 the new Daiwa Crossfire LT line is comfortable in freshwater, or light saltwater.

The Neo Cross-wrap system allows an optimized winding of the braid, by crossed turns and a better exit of the line during the casting phase. This is one of the key factors in preventing problems with twists and coils.
