It incorporates all of the proven features of the Squall family, with the addition of lighter weight, stronger drag settings and an Instant Anti-Reverse bearing, in a more compact package.
The Level Wind on the Penn Squall 30LW is completely synchronized and works even in the Free Spool function.
The Squall II now features Penn's® proprietary Fast Gear Access Sideplate, so that maintenance is more angler friendly than ever. The Squall® II Level Wind reels also feature a 3+1 Shielded Stainless Steel Ball Bearing system and HT-100™ Carbon Fiber Drag System, entirely surrounded by a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates.
