MALOSI early story

Brothers Jon & Niko combined their love for art and top water fishing when they started creating the first range of Malosi prototypes in Jon’s spare bedroom at AUSTRALIA. Lures made in these formative years were handcrafted from timber, following a meticulous and time-consuming process developed over many years.

The present

Following the success of their prototyping years, the brothers formally founded Malosi in 2020 and started to develop their process for sale. They spent almost two years testing developing an all-new way of building lures, one that would see all models reworked and digitized, new materials sourced and explored, new tech introduced, and a completely new production process built from the ground up.

At this moment, the MALOSI STUDIO team can produce and export the ORIGINAL 100% HANDMADE lures they made them popular at Australia and the rest of the world can get these amazing products on their hands!

The ROGUE lure

Don’t be fooled by its size, this fearless little stickbait was designed for heavy fishing first and foremost. The Rogue is very useful in a number of situations such as casting out to schools of large pelagics feeding on bait fish from a distance, and is equally effective on the flats or reef where small but strong lures are needed to muscle fish out.

This lure is crafted from solid Paulownia encapsulated in a hard resin shell, with 1.6mm stainless steel through wire and multiple layers of tough protective coating for the ultimate durability.

ROGUE Swim Action: Precise Killer

Small long casting sinking lures are extremely useful in a number of situations such as trying to reach schools of large pelagics feeding on bait fish from a distance. They are also very effective in the reef where small but strong lures are needed to muscle fish out.
