MALOSI early story

Brothers Jon & Niko combined their love for art and top water fishing when they started creating the first range of Malosi prototypes in Jon’s spare bedroom at AUSTRALIA. Lures made in these formative years were handcrafted from timber, following a meticulous and time-consuming process developed over many years.

The present

Following the success of their prototyping years, the brothers formally founded Malosi in 2020 and started to develop their process for sale. They spent almost two years testing developing an all-new way of building lures, one that would see all models reworked and digitized, new materials sourced and explored, new tech introduced, and a completely new production process built from the ground up.

MALOSI started producing the MICRO series at early 2024, introducing 3 models: ATOM, MINION and ECHO. These smaller lures are a big hit at Australia and the brand made their way to Europe through big cooperation like the one with KN Fishing Stores.

The Atom is a highly responsive and versatile surface popper that can produce everything from explosive pops to subtle finessed gloops. Very effective for chasing wide range of top water species.

This surface popper can produce a wide range of actions from explosive pops to subtle finessed gloops. Can be popped aggressively in a vertical style out wide or with much more control top down.

It's large cup face relative to its body size give this lure all the noise it needs to entice a strike but in the same cast can be pulled back to a very subtle surface disturbance if needed.
